How Stitch Me Up handles your information, and the cookies this website uses. Last updated 8 October 2026.
This website is run by Stitch Me Up, an embroidery and branding business based at Unit 30 Constellation Rd, Airways Industrial Estate, Dublin 17, D17 FT51. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website.
Questions about this policy or your information: email Stitchmeup23@gmail.com or call +353 85 271 0529.
Enquiry and quote forms. When you send us a message or request a quote, we receive your name, email address, phone number and message. On the T-shirt customiser we also receive the logo or artwork you upload and the colour, size and quantity you choose. We use this only to reply to you, prepare your quote and carry out any order you place. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and performing that contract.
Logo and artwork files. Files you upload are stored on our website so we can see your design and prepare the job. Only upload artwork you have the right to use. We delete uploaded files once they are no longer needed for your quote or order.
Spam protection. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to stop automated spam. reCAPTCHA checks your device and how you use the page, and Google receives information such as your IP address. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping our forms free of spam. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
Enquiry counts. Our website provider records that an enquiry was made (which form, which page and when) so we can see how well the website is working. It does not keep what you wrote or your contact details.
Website statistics. If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site, for example which pages are viewed and whether someone clicks to call or email us. Google Analytics does not run until you accept, and you can change your choice at any time.
Map. Our contact page shows a Google Map. Loading the map sends your IP address and browser details to Google.
We do not sell your information. We only share it with the service providers we need to run the business and this website:
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, they rely on safeguards approved under EU law, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
We keep enquiries for up to 12 months if they do not lead to an order. If you place an order, we keep the related records for as long as Irish tax and accounting law requires, normally six years. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Under the GDPR you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We only use necessary cookies by default. Analytics cookies are set only if you choose to accept them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with the cookie button in the bottom corner of the page.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
